All bonafide students, teaching faculty and non-teaching staff of Bhavan's College are eligible to use the library and its services after completing the membership formalities.

The library is open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all working days. Timings are extended during exam period. The library is closed on all Sundays and Public Holidays.

Members can borrow books by presenting their valid Library Card at the circulation counter and can also refer Reference Books by presenting a valid Identity Card. Books should be returned or renewed on or before the due date.

Yes. Books may be renewed if they are not reserved by another user. Renewal can be done before the due date by contacting the library.

The borrower must replace the lost book with the latest edition. If the book is unavailable, the latest market price will be recovered. Damaged books must be repaired or replaced according to the library rules.

Yes. The library provides access to various electronic resources, including e-books, e-journals, online databases and other digital library services for academic and research purposes.

Yes. Students may use the Reading Hall for studying, reading library books, newspapers, journals and reference materials in a quiet environment.

Yes. Eligible students can avail the Book Bank facility and the library staff provides reference and information assistance to help users locate books and other resources.

Students can search the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) to find the availability, location and call number of books. Library staff are always available to assist if required.

Students should maintain silence, handle books carefully, keep mobile phones on silent mode and avoid eating or drinking inside the library. Failure to comply may result in suspension of library privileges.
